Privacy notice

In short
- You do not need an account. We do not ask for your name or email address.
- Your mood choices, dhikr counts and worship details stay on your phone and never reach us.
- Your location is not sent to our server.
- We use no ad networks and no ad tracking. This site uses no cookies.
- Our server only receives counts with no identity attached. We can see how many people reached a step, not who they are.

What stays on your phone
These details are kept only on your phone and are not sent to our server:
- Your mood choices
- Your dhikr counts and worship choices
- The location or district you saved
- Your notification settings. Prayer time notifications are set up on your phone, not sent from our server.
- The apps you choose for the screen lock
Deleting the app deletes these details from your phone. If phone backup is on, they may be included in your operating system's backup.
Location
We use your location only to work out prayer times, and only if you allow it. If you do not, you can choose your district by hand. Your location is not sent to our server. Your phone uses its operating system's location service to find the name of your district, and Apple's or Google's own rules apply to that.

| Error reports: error type and message, app version, phone model and operating system. If the app crashes, the time zone and a technical value specific to the device may also be sent. To keep identity, mood, dhikr and dua details out of error reports, we remove those fields on the phone before anything is sent.
Transfers abroad
The providers above work outside the UK and Turkey, so the data listed goes to Germany, the European Union and the United States.
Religious and other sensitive data
We do not take details about your religion or health onto our server. If a feature ever needs this, we will ask for your separate, optional consent for that feature. If you say no, the app keeps working.
How long data is kept
Counts with no identity cannot be matched to a person and are kept for as long as they help product decisions. Subscription records are kept for as long as your subscription and legal duties require. Error reports are kept for the provider's retention period.
This website
This site uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, so we do not recognise you when you come back. The counts with no identity are listed in the table above. Fonts and images come from our own server, and the pages send no requests to other companies, unless you follow a link. Our server keeps no access log. For the country, we use DB-IP's list on our own server.
Children
Ruhaya does not knowingly collect personal data from children. You can use your store's family and parental controls for purchases.
Your rights
You can ask whether we hold data about you, ask for a copy, and ask us to correct or delete it. You can also object to how it is used. To do any of this, write to support@ruhaya.app
If you are in the UK, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
How do I delete my data?
- On your phone: Deleting the app deletes it.
- On our server: We keep no record that identifies you, so there is nothing to delete.
- Payment records: These are held by Apple or Google. Send your request to them.
- Subscription record: This sits at RevenueCat under a random ID that is not linked to your name. Because we cannot match that ID to you, we may not be able to find and delete it.
Changes
If we add a provider or handle data differently, we will update this notice. The date is at the top of the page.
