Terms of use
Last updated: 6 November 2026
In short
- Prayer times, adhan and qibla are free and will stay free.
- If you are subscribing for the first time, you get a 3 day free trial. The App Store or Google Play decides who is eligible. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
- A subscription renews by itself until you cancel. You cancel in your store.
- Ruhaya does not give religious rulings. The content is for information.
Scope
These terms apply to everyone who uses the Ruhaya app or this site. By using the app, you accept them.
What is free
Prayer times, adhan notifications, qibla and the calendar are free. The app shows which other features are free.
Subscription
Some features, such as widgets and programmes, need a subscription. Prices vary by country. The amount that applies appears on the payment screen and in the store's confirmation before you buy.
- Trial: First-time subscribers get a 3 day free trial. If you have subscribed before, a trial may not be offered. The App Store or Google Play decides who is eligible, and the offer that applies appears in the store's confirmation before you buy. You need a payment method on your store account. If you allow notifications, we will remind you before the trial ends.
- Payment: Payment is taken through your App Store or Google Play account. When the trial ends, the price of the plan you chose is charged.
- Renewal: Your subscription renews for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Cancelling: Cancel in your store account's subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. After you cancel, features stay on until the period ends.
- Refunds: Refund requests go to the store where you bought, under that store's rules. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
- Price changes: If a price changes, you will be told in advance under the store's rules.
Religious content
The duas, verses and explanations in Ruhaya are for information and come with their sources. Ruhaya does not give religious rulings. For a ruling, ask a local scholar.
Prayer and Ramadan times
All times are calculated, and calculation methods differ. The UK Ramadan timetables on this site use the method described on each page, and they can differ from your mosque's timetable. Follow your own mosque's timetable if it has one. The Ramadan and Eid dates shown are expected dates and depend on the sighting of the new moon.
In the app, times depend on your location and your phone's clock. If either is wrong, the times can be wrong too. Notifications depend on your phone's settings and battery.
Health
Ruhaya is not a health or mental health service. If you are going through a hard time, we encourage you to get support from a professional.
Rules of use
Use the app lawfully. Do not try to reverse engineer it, get around its protections or copy its content in bulk without permission. You can share Feed videos using the app's sharing feature.
Intellectual property
The Ruhaya name, mascots, design and original content belong to us or are licensed to us. Your right to use them is limited to personal, non-commercial use.
Liability
We work to keep the app running without interruption or error, but we cannot promise that it always will. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect loss. Nothing here limits consumer rights you cannot give up under the law where you live.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms. The date is at the top of the page. We announce important changes in the app. You can stop using Ruhaya at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Turkey. If you are a consumer living in the UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law where you live and can bring a claim in your local courts.
