The times differ from my mosque
This is expected. The UK Ramadan timetables on this site use the method described on each page, and many UK mosques use a later daybreak. Follow your own mosque's timetable if it has one. If you think a time is wrong, send us the city, the date and the time you expected.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You cancel in your store. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- iPhone: Open Settings, tap your name at the top, go to Subscriptions, choose Ruhaya and tap Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Open Google Play, tap your profile icon, go to Payments and subscriptions, then choose Ruhaya under Subscriptions.
Will I be charged before my trial ends?
No. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing. We send a notification before it ends. If notifications are off, this reminder will not reach you.
The trial is for first-time subscribers. The App Store or Google Play decides who is eligible. If the store's confirmation shows no trial, payment starts straight away.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are made through the store, so the store decides.
- iPhone: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Android: In Google Play, go to Payments and subscriptions, then Budget and history.
I changed phone and my subscription is gone
Sign in with the same store account. Then tap the restore purchases option on the payment screen.
Adhan notifications are not arriving
- Check that Ruhaya is allowed to send notifications in your phone's settings.
- Check silent mode and focus mode.
- Make sure battery saving is not restricting Ruhaya.
- Open the app now and then. Notifications are set up on your phone and this refreshes them.
I have a religious question
Ruhaya does not give religious rulings. For a ruling, ask a local scholar. If you find a mistake in a text, please write to us.
I want my data deleted
Data on your phone is deleted when you delete the app. We keep no record on our server that identifies you. Payment records are held by Apple or Google. There is more in the privacy notice.
